Shipping update

    • Possible shipping delays: Carriers are working hard to meet their commitments, but shipments may be unexpectedly delayed once en route — particularly those going through international customs processes. If you would like an estimate for expedited shipping, please contact us@theyogaposter.com.
    • Shipping within the United States. As of April 2023, the USPS has tacked on a $4 surcharge for Priority Mail packages that are ≥ 24 inches. As The Yoga Poster’s height is 24 inches, this has impacted our shipping costs. So, we have switched from USPS Priority Mail to insured & tracked USPS Media Mail. The good news: Media Mail is lower cost than Priority Mail. And, lower costs for us = lower costs for you! The less-good news: It is a slower shipping speed. If you want to upgrade your shipping, please contact us.
    • Possible in-country fees or taxes: International recipients may be subject to local fees or taxes prior to delivery. If such fees are a concern, we kindly recommend that you research local policies prior to placing your order. Silver Tree, LLC is not liable for any duties, import tax, or other fees that may be incurred.
    • Thank you for your patience! Thank you in advance for your patience as carriers continue working to meet unprecedented demands. Due to the overburdened delivery systems and staffing issues worldwide, we cannot provide refunds for items that are lagging in expected and hoped-for delivery times. That said, please do reach out if you would like tracking assistance; we’ll do our best to help out! And, of course, if a claim needs to be filed that will be handled on our end as well.

Q: Can I reproduce The Yoga Poster or your other works?

No, please do not reproduce The Yoga Poster in any way.

It is copyrighted material and protected by law. What does that mean? Well, in many ways, the poster is like a book. We spent hundreds of hours researching, writing, thinking and designing and copyright is a legal means of acknowledging that. When we added up all the time and energy that went into this we thought it was fair to ask the world to respect that effort.

Q: Can I have a digital file for personal or shared use?

Scans and digital files of The Yoga Poster are not available for distribution. Those would be in violation of our copyright. Please contact us with any questions.

Q: Can I hire you for custom work?

We are available for custom print work, web design, and web development.  You can read a bit more about that on our other sites: havahula.org and presspoint.com Let's talk!

Q: Is The Yoga Poster available wholesale? What about your yoga-inspired greeting cards and posters?

Yes, all of our products are available wholesale. Please email us for more information. (We are a bit particular about who retails our products, so please don’t be offended if we ask YOU a few questions, too!)

Q: I’m in a teacher-training program / leading a teacher-training program. Do you have discounts available for us?

We offer small-group discounts and consolidated shipping rates. Contact us for more information.

Q: My nonprofit is having a fundraiser / I’m raising funds for my teacher training / etc. …Can you donate to my cause?

In-kind donations are most likely, but sponsorships are certainly not out of the question. Please get in touch.

Q: Are your products “green” / eco-friendly / etc.

Yes!

The Yoga Poster is printed outside of Washington, DC at a small, family-owned print shop. The paper is 100lb. archival-quality  paper. For comparison, typical printer paper is 20lb.. When supply chain allows (much more difficult since the pandemic!), we use 100% post-consumer waste materials. The inks are vegetable-based. Even the shipping materials are predominantly earth friendly … the tube and inner wrapping paper are 100% recycled materials; the plastic end caps are plastic, but can be reused or recycled.

Our other works are also printed on 100% PCW paper and also printed locally at a small, family-owned print shop.

Q: How is The Yoga Poster stored, handled and packaged?

The posters are stored flat until an order has been received. Upon order, we hand-roll each poster using a dowel to keep the edges smooth. The rolled poster is wrapped in 100% recycled brown paper and sealed with a small strip of tape. From there, it is inserted into a 100% recycled mailing tube with stapled end caps. Internationally bound posters will have additional brown-paper padding added for extra protection.

 Q: When will you ship my order?

We do our best to ship all orders within 2-3 business days. If you would like to request a quote for expedited shipping,  please get in touch. Expedited shipping is available for both U.S. and international destinations.

Your will receive an email when your order is en route. International customers — please read “Q: Do you ship internationally (i.e., outside the United States)?”, below.

Q: What shipping provider do you use?

The Yoga Poster is shipped via the USPS, UPS, or FedEx. International shipments will be transferred to local carriers (e.g., Royal Mail, PostNord, etc.). Within the United States, we primarily ship via insured & tracked USPS Media Mail, which has an approximate — not guaranteed — delivery time of 7 business days.

If you prefer a particular shipping service, please contact us and we’ll see what we can work out.

 Q: Do you offer expedited shipping?

Yes, please contact us for a quote; expedited shipping is available for both U.S. and International orders. Contact us for a quote; be sure to include the number of posters you’d like to order, your complete shipping address and how soon you’re hoping to receive your order.

Q: Do you ship internationally (i.e., outside the United States)?

Yes! Our works have been shipped to all but one continent so far (Antarctica)!

International delivery times vary greatly — depending whether you have purchased expedited shipping, time of year, your country’s customs processes, etc. — and can take anywhere from one to several weeks (and…it may be longer). If you’d like a more specific time frame, please contact us regarding expedited (trackable and insured) shipping options. International orders sent via standard shipping are not insured; if lost in transit, we will do all we can to help you find your package but cannot and will not be held financially responsible for replacing your items. Depending on your location and local processes (e.g., customs & duties), it may be helpful to leave notice with your postal carrier or local postal office that you are expecting a brown mailing tube from the United States that is 25 inches in length.

Q: What about customs and import duties?


Please check with your local postal service or other authority regarding customs & import duties. The Yoga Poster is not liable for such fees incurred.

Q: I accidentally gave you a wrong/incomplete/old address. Can you resend?

Yes, but shipping is expensive, so…

Once the original product is returned to us via USPS: If the mistake was yours, we will ask you to pay shipping fees before we correct and resend; if the mistake was ours, we will cover shipping fees and sincerely apologize for the delay!.

Q: USPS reported that they could not deliver my item. Can you resend or give me a refund?

Once the original product is returned to us via the carrier, we will evaluate the issue on a per-case basis. Please note that shipping fees are non-refundable and buyers are responsible for reshipment fees.

Q: I didn’t make it to the post office on time to pick up my poster! It was sent back to you. Will you resend?

Yes. Once your package is received back at our office, we will be happy to resend it to you! You must pay the return shipping fees. We will invoice you for the fees; once paid, your item(s) will be re-shipped within 1 – 2 business days.

Q: Why is delivery taking so long? Can I have a replacement or refund?

While we cannot replace or refund items that have not been confirmed as lost or damaged by the shipping provider, please let us know what’s happening so we are aware and can assist as needed. Depending on the rules as set forth by the shipping partner (e.g., USPS, UPS, FedEx), we typically must wait 30-40 days before a package will be deemed lost. If you prefer to place a new order, that’s fine! Just let us know and when the original item appear back in our box we will reach out to you. Please be aware that shipping fees are non-refundable.

Q: The delivery service reports my package as “delivered”, but I believe it was stolen. What do I do?

Please contact us. We insure all packages within the United States. International shipments are insured whenever possible. While we are not liable for stolen packages,  will assist you in gathering information (e.g., shipping dates, proof of purchase and item value) if needed. Once we have gathered and reported all necessary documentation, a determination will be made regarding replacement, refund, or if we need to wait a bit to see if the package reappears.

Q: My poster/print/greeting card doesn’t seem “perfect”, what’s going on?

Our products are printed on unbleached, 100% post consumer waste recycled paper. And, unbleached, 100% post consumer waste recycled paper may have a story to tell! These teensy ”imperfections” — or “beauty spots”, which is how we like to think of them — are part of the final product. Seriously, though, we do inspect each item as it is being prepared for shipment. If there is an actual defect, it will not knowingly be shipped.
